GraphDB Admin:

GraphDB admin will serve as a key member of the Enterprise Reporting Platforms team. This role\xe2\x80\x99s primary focus will be installation, maintenance and troubleshooting activities on Neo4j GraphDB. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to business stakeholders of Neo4j and cross train to serve as a backup as needed for MemSQL. This is role is more focused on application admin and db admin activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in installation, migration, configuration, maintenance, technical support and troubleshooting of Neo4j on Linux platform
  • 5+ years of experience in other databases as DBA or application admin
  • Strong knowledge of deployment for BI or DB applications on Linux is a must
  • Understanding of graph data modeling, graph schema development, graph data design for both transactional (OLTP) and analytical (OLAP) workloads
  • Experience with graph data models (LPG,RDF) and graph languages Cypher
  • Exposure to various graph data modeling for common use cases (Customer 360, data lineage, fraud detection, recommenders)
  • Experience developing graph algorithms, optimizing complex queries, designing indexes and constraints.
  • Good in Cypher graph query language and related tools and frameworks (Neo4j admin, APOC)
  • Leverage different automation methods to deploy Linux clusters
  • Develop process/automation around database security (Roles, Groups, Row Level Access etc)
  • Troubleshoot application and db errors, research logs and work with vendors to resolve issues quickly
  • Familiar with data load/transformation/aggregation using Scala/Spark jobs
  • Contribute to architecture and capacity planning activities
  • Configure backup processes, document and thoroughly test restore of the clustered environment to prove out the proper backup processes in place
  • Work with cross-functional technology teams for provisioning new VMs, prep VM access, firewall changes, security updates, bug fixes, monitoring and performance tuning (scaling, clustering, load balancing)
  • Responsible for app server maintenance/upgrades and validation after patching
  • Perform and support in change management for software and hardware upgrades
  • Build reports/dashboards out of Metadata tables for MemSQL & Neo4j to monitor server usage to identify any performance issues or ways to best utilize resources
  • Proficiency with scripting languages (powershell, perl, python) is a plus
  • Involve in POC for open source BI tools and propose ideas to expand overall team\xe2\x80\x99s skillsets
  • Configure/Optimize Servers settings, apply trace logs on servers in case of troubleshooting complex incidents
  • Provide off-hours and weekend support in an on-call rotation for potential production outages or scheduled releases
Skills

Required Skills:
  • Must be a current contractor with Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth Health Services, or one of their subsidiaries.
  • Must have recent hands-on experience as Neo4j application admin and DBA in an clustered environment
  • Deep knowledge of Neo4j architecture
  • Strong Technical knowledge in security and architecture of new patterns for BI platforms
  • Setup and configuration of BI application on Linux and Windows servers
  • Troubleshoot application issues working with various technology partners and vendors
Other Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Designers, Business Analysts)
  • Exposure to AWS cloud technology is a plus
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills to meet key timelines
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Education
  • Must have High School Diploma or equivalent - required
  • 5-8 year\xe2\x80\x99s relevant experience with Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred or a Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 121,900 - 203,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
