job summary:
Our client is looking to add a Senior CAD Designer to their growing team. Candidates are not required to have an Associates degree in Mechanical design, but it is highly desired. Candidates must have at least 5+ years of Solidworks mechanical design experience and experience with integrated CAD modeling. responsibilities:

• Assist technical product engineers in advancing both new and established products and/or technologies through our client\'s product development procedure.

• Create novel products and enhance existing ones within our client\'s product development framework, utilizing SolidWorks and adhering to our client\'s design criteria.

• Incorporate design for manufacturing standardization, modularization, and automation, integrating lean principles into the product\'s design.

• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure that designs align with current manufacturing processes.

• Develop and oversee bills of materials (BOMs) linked to mechanical designs.

• Sustain professional and technical expertise by participating in educational workshops, reviewing industry publications, establishing personal networks, and engaging with professional societies.

• Adhere to ISO procedures to ensure consistent and well-documented product releases.
