Debut is seeking a Senior Brand Manager to lead go-to-market efforts for a new premium skincare line. Reporting to the VP, Consumer Brands, this is a unique opportunity to scale a pre-launch consumer brand with ownership of comprehensive marketing strategies to grow brand awareness and acquire the brand\'s first core consumers.

We aim to be a leader in the sustainable brands direct-to-consumer landscape. We are seeking an experienced brand marketer to own the vision for the brand platform and lead campaign execution with cross-functional teams including digital marketing, public relations, creative, and innovation to create a strong brand experience across all consumer touch points.

We have a strong preference for candidates able to work in San Diego, CA with a competitive relocation package available. For the strongest candidates, would consider Remote, with regular travel required to San Diego. Responsibilities

  • Own brand strategy, vision, and identity to ensure a cohesive brand positioning across all major consumer touch points
  • Lead the ideation, development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies, detailed marketing calendar and rich storytelling to grow awareness and acquisition
  • Build a deep understanding of our target consumer and create actionable recommendations founded in data for campaigns, innovation, and updates to brand platform
  • Work collaboratively with creative and digital marketing/ecommerce leads to manage the development of all brand-related communication, including packaging artwork and digital campaigns
  • Lead PR agency relationships to broaden brand visibility and promote key messaging
  • Interface with innovation team on new product concepts to define unique selling point and ensure brand alignment and consumer needs
  • Take full P&L responsibility and lead business analysis, monitoring and reporting business performance against KPIs and identify opportunities to drive growth and profitability
  • Oversee operational activities including inventory management, demand planning, and 3PL requirements
  • Drive analysis of new channel and geographic market opportunities and make recommendations for expanding the brand\'s revenue streams
  • Manage and mentor rising marketing talent with clear paths for development
Preferred Experience and Capabilities
  • 6+ years of experience in consumer brand management, with personal care industry experience a must and start-up experience preferred
  • Prior P&L accountability is a must
  • Exposure to go-to-market strategies and commercialization processes, with an understanding of its impact to the business
  • A pulse on trends, cultural/global conversations and social landscape, with proven success in activating on behalf of a global brand
  • Excellence in complex business model development, market analysis scenario planning, financial modeling, and in-market experimentation/piloting
  • Strong leadership skills and superior communication skills
  • Demonstration of solid leadership, management, and cross-organizational collaboration skills
  • Empathy and openness to learning new techniques and from new perspectives
  • Ability to work independently, comfort with navigating ambiguity, and energized by working in a fast-paced environment
  • You are willing to travel as needed (anticipated 25%)
Salary: $115,000 \xe2\x80\x93 140,000
