To support this growth, we\'re looking for a senior analyst to support growth initiatives at our strategic accounts. You will conduct analysis to derive business insights and to drive key business decisions at our accounts, while also building and developing your relationship management capabilities by becoming a trusted business advisor to our strategic partners. You will work with internal and external business partners to help achieve our growth goals and formulate and implement recommendations for growth strategies. We are looking for someone who has great analytical abilities but is interested in growing into a more strategic, customer-facing role. This role reports to one of our Directors of Growth Strategy on our strategic account management team.

Responsibilities

  • Business / Data Analysis: Uncover new opportunities to optimize and grow our business through data-driven insights. Identify root causes to issues and growth opportunities, summarize key insights, and develop action plans to address those opportunities. Inform and influence business decisions through detailed data analysis.
  • Strategy Formulation & Implementation: Develop and implement growth strategies and project manage initiatives to completion with both SquareTrade\'s internal teams and various teams at our strategic partners. Prioritize strategies and initiatives and adapt to changing priorities as needed.
  • Strategic Partner Management: Serve as a strategic thought leader to our partners, addressing any partner concerns and helping advocate for our initiatives to secure resourcing. Dive deep into the business and org of our partners to form strong, long-lasting relationships to improve our stickiness.
  • Internal Stakeholder / Project Management: Project manage growth initiatives to completion internally. Manage and partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., product, operations, finance / accounting, marketing) to drive growth initiatives forward.
  • Reporting: Help build and maintain weekly / monthly / quarterly / annual dashboards and reporting for strategic partners. Improve efficiency using automation to make information available on an ongoing and real-time basis.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in a strategy, operations, or analytical role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an interest in relationship management / external client-facing roles. Experience independently putting slides together to tell a story is a plus.
  • Self-starter who can independently drive projects and initiatives forward. Must be comfortable with constantly shifting priorities and be able to prioritize projects and initiatives effectively.
  • Highly resourceful and able to manage ambiguity.
  • Proven track record of complex problem solving and using data to drive business insights and decision-making.
  • Experience with project management and leading and working effectively on cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with SQL and querying / obtaining data from databases and building dashboards in BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, etc.).
  • Experience working for or with national retailers is a plus (but not required).
