We are looking for an ambitious Senior Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting functions for our team. You will be responsible for core accounting activities and preparing month-end close procedures, and providing additional support to our team as needed.

Key Objectives

Objective #1: Own core accounting activities

  • Maintain complex areas of the general ledger and assist accountants with executing their priorities as assigned whether in AR/Billing or AP/Expenses
  • Own assigned areas of the month-end close process
  • Prepare supporting documents for tax filings
  • Assist with management reporting, budgeting, and forecasts
  • Identify and propose enhancements and improvements to areas of responsibility and financial applications
  • Prepare well-supported accounting records in accordance with policies and procedures
Objective #2: Support our overall accounting department and team
  • Help produce robust financial statements for internal and external reporting requirements
  • Support the annual external audit process by preparing schedules and footnotes and working with others to ensure quality control on audit deliverables.
  • Perform special projects as requested
  • Be a resource and support for our internal customers (i.e. other business units) as they strive to directly serve our prospects and customers and generate growth
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or a similar field that provides an equivalent background
  • 2-4 years of experience in public
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting standards
