Security Officer \xc2\xb7 Establish a security presence. Monitor foot and vehicle traffic in and out of the facility, patrol property. \xc2\xb7 Facilitate employee & visitor screening for illness, including asking questions and taking temperatures. \xc2\xb7 Must be able to read and understand all written/verbal instructions. \xc2\xb7 Ensure all employees and visitors have proper credentials for accessing buildings. \xc2\xb7 Announce deliveries as well as visitors, and contractors. \xc2\xb7 Greet employees and visitors as they arrive and assist with any concerns they might have. \xc2\xb7 Complete reports and other required documentation. Write reports for all security incidents. Ability to stay levelheaded and respond quickly in stressful situations. \xc2\xb7 Monitor alarms and security cameras, answer phones, provide information, directions and general guidance. \xc2\xb7 Complete daily walking patrol rounds of site, while being watchful for suspicious persons and/or activities, inspect buildings, equipment and access points. Serve as a deterrent to persons who have intent to committing criminal acts. \xc2\xb7 Verify secure loads of delivery trucks and monitor materials leaving the facility \xc2\xb7 Other duties as needed. Candidates must meet the following: \xc2\xb7 Be able to pass drug and background checks \xc2\xb7 Have your own transportation \xc2\xb7 Be free of any felony convictions \xc2\xb7 Have a high school diploma or equivalent \xc2\xb7 Age 25 years or older \xc2\xb7 Must be alert, comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods of time. \xc2\xb7 Have proficient written and oral communication skills plus a working knowledge of Microsoft office, including Excel, Word and Outlook. \xc2\xb7 All employees are required to wear the provided uniform. Keep clean and neat appearance with good personal hygiene. \xc2\xb7 Employee must have polite, courteous and helpful conduct when working with direct client population and fellow Security Officers. \xc2\xb7 Profanity, Racial Ethnic Slurs and/ or Jokes, and sexual harassment are strictly prohibited. \xc2\xb7 Previous security experience a plus. * Candidates must have working knowledge and ability to operate a smart phone or tablet. General operational knowledge of these devices are required for reporting activities. Applicant must be able to obtain a private Security license through the state of arkansas.
