Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our Rooms team as a Security Officer at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans. The Security Officer is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security of the hotel guests and employees. This person will follow safety and security standards and complete incident reports as required. They will be responsible for patrolling the hotel to ensure proper safety measure are in place,and address any areas or persons that may affect that safety and security.

Qualifications

• One to two years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a security field preferred
• Knowledge of emergency and safety procedures
• Ability to interact with guests and other employees in a courteous, empathetic, and discreet manner.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
• 
  Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• 
  Proficient in basic computer skills
