Patrols, monitors, investigates and communicates regarding all aspects of Security and Public Safety. Serves as first line of contact for the department. Provides a safe, secure environment for staff, visitors, and patients within the Medical Center Complex and contracted facilities. Reports Public Safety and security concerns. Operates security vehicles. Staffs fixed posts. Makes designated rounds. Enforces rules. Investigates violations. Assists community police and fire officials. Assists in restraining combative patients. Performs escorting, lockout and jump-starting services. Driver\'s License, position located at University Hospitals. Minimum Education Required Per Classified Civil Svc Specs or equivalent combination of education and experience Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent certificate; ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers and read and write common vocabulary; valid Ohio Driver\'s License; must serve 12 months probationary period from date of employment. Selected candidate is subject to successful completion of a psychological evaluation.
