Security Officer : GuardLogic is looking to fill three Part-Time positions in the Beckley, WV area. This position has the possibility of turning into Full-Time. GuardLogic is currently looking to hire for the position of Security Officers. No prior experience is necessary as we provide training. Benefits Opportunities for employment at multiple locations. This position will be staffed within 1-2 weeks. Paid training Uniform shirts and pants provided at no cost to the employee. One week of paid vacation* after completion of a 6 month probationary period. *Note that vacation time is proportional to the employees normally scheduled hours per week. A full time 40hr week employee gets 40hrs paid vacation. A part time 16hr per week employee gets 16hr paid vacation. Current part time and/or flex officers get the first opportunity to fill available full-time openings. Promotional opportunities are filled from within the organization. Starting pay of $11.00 per hour. Pay increases after a 6-Month Probationary Period. Security Officer Responsibilities: The following is a general description of the duties and responsibilities normally performed by the security officers. It is not meant to represent all of the duties and responsibilities of the position. Security officers will monitor cameras as well as check site employees in and out. Security officers, once trained and experienced, will train new officers as necessary. Security officers will check all assigned interior and exterior doors to ensure they are secured. Security officers will monitor the parking lots for various safety and security related issues. Security officers will monitor both the interior and exterior premises for unauthorized personnel. Security officers will patrol all building exteriors for safety hazards, unsecured areas, evidence of smoke/fire/vandalism, etc. Security officers will identify, report, and document any security or maintenance issues discovered during patrols.
