Job Description

Primary purpose of this position is to assist in the direction of the laboratory department in accordance with current applicable guidelines and standards as directed by the director of the laboratory department. Maintains accurate and complete records in the department. All duties will be performed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards, and will comply with all criteria mandated by the appropriate accrediting and licensing agencies.

Education/Training:

Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science, medical technology or chemical, physical or biological science; One year training and experience in the designated specialty/subspecialty area of service

OR

- Associate degree in laboratory science or medical technology (or pulmonary function) or equivalent education training;

Two years laboratory training or experience in the designated specialty/subspecialty area of service

Location: Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare Laboratory

Schedule: Full Time, Evenings 8-hour shifts, 10am - 6:30pm
