The Opportunity: When an organization has multiple moving parts in its processes, it can be difficult to critically examine them. To be more efficient and effective, it needs a project and schedule analyst to identify its mission targets end-to-end and provide ways to change for the better. That\xe2\x80\x99s why we need you, an experienced project and schedule analyst who knows how to analyze every aspect of your customer\xe2\x80\x99s operations and give them the steps to improve their process. As a project and schedule analyst on our team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll analyze your client\xe2\x80\x99s operating environment and identify areas for improvement. You\xe2\x80\x99ll facilitate discussions with leadership and support staff across engineers, other analysts, and stakeholders to help refine your client\xe2\x80\x99s definition of success and identify frustrations. You\xe2\x80\x99ll design detail-oriented integrated master schedules and high-level plans, facilitate workshops, and communicate your research and illustrative analysis using schedule risk analysis techniques to help establish understanding and agreement from key stakeholders across schedule, costs, and risks. Using Microsoft Project and Oracle Primavera you\xe2\x80\x99ll develop and analyze project or program integrated master schedules with a diverse team of leaders, technical SMEs, business and acquisition professionals, clients, and stakeholders. You\xe2\x80\x99ll develop and mature sustainable project management processes and use the opportunity to present new ideas to conferences and clients. You\xe2\x80\x99ll lead teams, career manage and mentor staff, support business development, and mature our cutting-edge capabilities.   • 5+ years of experience with supporting projects and program management
  • 2+ years of experience with developing, managing, and integrating large project schedules, including critical path evaluation using Microsoft Project and Primavera
  • Experience with project, program, or portfolio performance metrics, including establishing, analyzing, and reporting
  • Ability to establish, develop, manage, and analyze project schedules with minimal oversight
  • Ability to assess schedules and other project controls data critically and communicate priority findings to teams
  • Ability to be flexible, show initiative and innovation, and deal with ambiguous and fast-paced situations
  • Ability to manage client or team relationships and work well in a matrixed, cross-functional, and diverse professional organization
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree
Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with earned value and budget management, cost estimation, portfolio management, or risk management
  • Experience with supporting programs and contracts in the federal government
  • Experience with developing resource loaded schedules
  • Experience with performing schedule risk assessments (SRA) and enterprise risk assessments
  • Experience with computer programming, including Visual Basic Macros
  • Experience with DoD RIO and PMI processes and concepts
  • Experience with using and applying data science or data visualization tools, including R, Tableau, Power BI, and Python
  • Possession of excellent data-gathering, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Schedule Professional (PMI-SP) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual\xe2\x80\x99s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen\xe2\x80\x99s total compensation package for employees. Work Model
