Black Desert Resort, located in the stunning landscape of Southern Utah, offers a unique luxury experience amidst breathtaking natural scenery. Our resort features a championship 19-hole golf course designed by Tom Weiskopf, luxurious accommodations, state of the art conference center, and a variety of amenities including upscale dining options, a state-of-the-art spa, and retail options. Job Overview:

Black Desert Resort, an luxury hotel and condo resort, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and building strong relationships with new and existing clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Job Specifications

  • Onsite: Black Desert/Red Moutain
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Year Round / Full Time
  • The budgeted range starts at $75,000 - $80,000 + annual bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
Job Responsibilities but not limited:
  • Execute strategic sales plans targeting Leisure, Consortia, Group, Corporate, and SMERF segments.
  • Cultivate and deepen client relationships across these segments, understanding unique requirements and preferences.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities within each segment.
  • Collaboratively work with the marketing team to develop segment-specific promotional campaigns and materials.
  • Represent the resort at key industry events and trade shows, focusing on networking and building connections.
  • Liaise closely with other resort departments to ensure a cohesive and seamless service delivery aligned with client expectations.
  • Track and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports to the Director of Sales with insights and recommendations.
  • Guide and support the sales team, promoting a culture of excellence and collaborative success.
  • Oversee contract negotiations and agreements with a keen eye on beneficial terms for the resort.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on diverse market segments.
  • Strong negotiation skills and an established track record in strategic sales planning and execution.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and networking abilities.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Capacity to travel as needed and adapt to flexible working hours.
Compensation Range

The compensation for this position is $75,000.00/Yr. - $80,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
