The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,400 - $125,500. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors and considerations. In addition to base salary and a generous employee benefits package, employees are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.

General Description of the Role

The role of Commercial Sales Analyst will work in conjunction with the Commercial Operations team to drive the development and activation of effective tools and procedures to optimize management and execution of core Sales management areas: planning, reconciling, programming, development and tracking of goals, budgets, allocations, new items, inventory management [internal & distributor] etc. Focus will be leading Sales reporting as well as maintenance of data integrity throughout all Commercial related systems. This role heavily relies on being ingrained with multiple touchpoints across the organization and external providers while being able to provide reporting & ways of working knowledgeable solutions on demand. As the subject matter expert for Commercial data integrity & reporting this role is critical in providing the organization with accurate and timely reporting outputs.

Mission/Objectives

Develop and execute comprehensive data reporting and ways of working knowledge solutions and processes to enable the cross-functional needs of the Campari Commercial organization.

Key Responsibilities and Activities

Commercial Systems Management & Data Integrity

  • Ensuring data integrity between all reporting systems by researching & reconciling discrepancies and ownership of monthly depletion audits
  • Manage monthly product and market master data updates including Product & Market Master databases, Flash Depletion disaggregation table, NABCA codes, FOB Pricing Report, Distributor contact information, and reporting consistency
  • Take the lead with the Business Intelligence (BI) team & third-party data service providers to create, elevate & automate reporting to ensure the needs of key stakeholders are being met and implement new technologies & processes as they become available
  • Work with IT & Global BI/BW team to manage issues & bring change requests to conclusion
  • Work with vendors/partners to ensure the accuracy and timely receipt of data downloads, system updates and/or customized tools for use at Campari
  • Liaise with third-party reporting systems such as Vermont Information Processing\'s (VIP\'s) iDig setting up new users & providing training, master data maintenance, fulfilling report requests, and the ability to do deep analytical dives
Reporting & Continuous Improvement:
  • Contribute to the development of tools, systems & reports that enhance the efficiency of work processes and/or improved data insights leading to better business decisions
  • Proactively seek to understand the needs of Field Commercial Sales in general and develop recommendations and improved tools, reports, solutions etc.
  • Drive the improvement of current reporting & processes through automation & efficiencies specific to Power BI Reporting & Commercial ways of working
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis of entire portfolio performance, KPI achievements, scorecards, etc. to Sales Leadership Team and key stakeholders
  • Analyze and provide key insights into market & brand depletions & gross margin performance by highlighting risk & opportunities, trends affecting local markets, and brand updates relating to portfolio strategy

Internal: Sales, Commercial Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Trade Marketing

External: Data providers & distributors

Experience Required
  • Minimum 5 years of proven beverage alcohol experience at a supplier, distributor, or key outlet
  • Experience working with distributors & data services providers on a consistent basis
Education / Professional Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree required in Business, Finance, or data driven field, MBA preferred
