The Safety Officer is responsible for the enforcement of all company safety and health policies. They will conduct regular safety meetings as well as daily on-site safety inspections.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily on-site job safety observations to ensure that safety and PPE policies are being followed and generate monthly safety observation reports. Communicate with employees, field supervisors on any safety concerns on the jobsite.
  • Conduct monthly safety meetings with field employees.
  • Conduct weekly safety audits of the warehouse. Investigate all incidents and accidents and complete OSHA 301 injury reports, injury investigation/witness reports and refresher training as required.
  • Travel to other states as directed to assist in safety audits and fall protection inspections.
  • Train all new field hires in the proper use of fall protection and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist in addressing emergencies at job sites including, but not limited, to personal injuries and or damages, including contacting relevant emergency personnel.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 1-2 years demonstrated supervisory experience, preferably in construction safety, OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to lead by example through a positive, professional demeanor.
  • Strong interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a valid driver\'s license and maintain a good driving record.
