Under administrative direction of the Director of Research Center and the Director of Research, the Research Scientist I develops and implements an independent research program. Develops and maintains a research program with national impact. Develops and maintains the appropriate facilities for the research program. Participates in collaborative research projects with other members of the research faculty.
LANGUAGE RESEARCH SCIENTIST POSITIONS AT BOYS TOWN NATIONAL RESEARCH HOSPITAL
Boys Town National Research Hospital (BTNRH) invites applications for early or mid-career level research scientist positions within the Center for Childhood Deafness, Language & Learning (CCDLL).There are two positions to be filled. Our vision is to grow the CCDLL into a program with tightly integrated research and clinical arms that work synergistically on issues oflanguage development and disorders.Current expertise in the CCDLL focuses on children with developmental language disorder, dyslexia, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, cleft palate, and children who are deaf and hard of hearing. Within these populations, we study word learning, spoken language, literacy, executive function, and statistical learning, and we employ a variety of methods including behavioral, EEG, and fNIRS.
