Lief Labs is a premier formulation and product development innovator and manufacturer of dietary supplements. Summary We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of our daily routines and procedures. You will focus on learning how our organization runs. Responsibilities

• Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
• Rotates through our divisions of responsibility and provides ideas to grow and improve the business.
• Accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project during the internship.
• Engages with customers or clients and provides service and/or sales.
• Provide suggestions to management for improving customer service and internal processes.
• Learns and becomes proficient on internal software systems.
• Perform clerical duties, take memos, maintain files, and organize documents; photocopy, fax, etc. as needed.
• Assist in preparing information and research materials; create and maintain PowerPoint presentations.
• Take notes and memos during meetings; type documents, drafts, and reports; sort and manage files.
• Manage databases and input information, data, and records.
• Research and gather documentation on company position in the industry.
• Shadow multiple office positions and train in a variety of tasks
• Update and post supervised social media and website content; respond to web correspondence, social media posts, and emails.

• Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program, in 3rd or 4th year of college graduate program.
• Prior industry experience is preferred

Knowledge

• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Work Environment The office is clean, orderly, properly lighted, and ventilated. Noise levels are considered low to moderate. Field conditions vary. Exposed to various raw materials, including allergens (i.e. milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nut, peanuts, wheat, soy). Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to bend, crawl, sit, talk, move about, hear and speak. May be required to work in restricted spaces and/or under difficult lighting and access conditions. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10-50 pounds and be able to use appropriate support equipment to lift and move greater amounts. Must be able to stand for approximately 8 hours. Must be able to work independently, in a team environment, and drive projects to solutions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to use properly use such safety equipment as is appropriate to the work to prevent injury to self or others. Additional Information
The Salary Range for this position at Lief Labs is $18.00-(USD) an hour. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to market demands, experience, training, skills, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, wellness benefits, education reimbursement program, and PTO.
