We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in AMERICAS at Westerville, Ohio.

Job Purpose:
In this role, you will provide thorough knowledge of facilities related products and services in demand in USA, Canada and Latin American countries.

Your tasks:

  • Good understanding of supplier market of Facility Goods and Services in USA, Canada, and Latin America
  • Relationship established and maintained with major Business Partners
  • Good understanding of the standards and policies of major Business Partners
  • Develop and execute clear regional cluster strategy for the region focusing on USA and Canada based on the understanding of business partner requirements and supplier market movements and in alignment with global category strategy
  • Ensure that global procurement process of sourcing and supporting tool set (for example, TCO evaluation) is applied in Category ABC countries
  • Stay on top of the 5 most important projects of the region
  • Active guidance to projects from category A countries and support supplier negotiations.
  • Involvement of projects from category B and C countries in alignment with Corporate Category Managers
  • Act as regional point of contact of supplier relationship and escalation, take on supplier development initiatives in alignment with global category strategy
  • Ensure active consultation towards Business Partners with cost optimization potential and execution for category A countries, encourage the team to share best practice across Business Units in category B countries
  • Lead and complete cross-region projects in alignment with Corporate Category Managers
  • Hold overall responsibility of the quality of the work of category ABC countries
  • Be responsible for regional data management, including Category specific reporting and tool usage (GoSource, GoSave, Compliance reporting, etc\xe2\x80\xa6.)
  • Build and lead presentations related to project summaries and sourcing strategies
  • Coordinate and lead supplier negotiations
  • Coordinate and lead supplier agreement discussions with operations, finance, and legal

Your profile:

  • 7+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Procurement working for large national or international company
  • Experience in Facilities Procurement is a plus
  • Self-starter and high performer
  • Leadership skills: actively give feedback to country heads about the development potentials of the Facilities team members and be involved in recruiting process of team member in category A countries

Regional Category Manager

Reporting to the Director of Procurement, the Category Manager will play an integral role in a variety of strategic sourcing initiatives.The Category Manager will have experience with sourcing or management of packaging and corporate wear and responsibility for managing the entire procurement cycle for certain key segments and in other cases will liaise with global Category Managers to facilitate the strategic sourcing process for stakeholders. The category manager will be a key component in increasing the total \xe2\x80\x9cmanaged spend\xe2\x80\x9d for the Network Supplies Commodity thereby enabling further savings and efficiencies.

  • Establish relationships with local stakeholders and provide visibility and credibility for the strategic sourcing function and to ensure knowledge of internal demand and service quality.
  • Meet or exceed the annual cash savings targets established for the position.
  • Take the lead in specific sourcing initiatives as mandated by the Director of Procurement. Specific major projects in the near term will be focused on Network Supplies / Packaging / Print sourcing.
  • Cooperate with global sourcing teams to develop and implement local procurement strategies.
  • Identify and recommend \xe2\x80\x9cbest in class suppliers\xe2\x80\x9d. Conduct supplier management according to corporate standards and provide feedback concerning suppliers to relevant team members.
  • Analyze local spend data and identify opportunities for cost savings through strategic sourcing methodologies. Take the lead in initiating sourcing projects to act on these findings.
  • Track category specific project progress and benefits and report according to corporate performance management requirements and tools.
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of relevant supply markets.
  • Close cooperation with global sourcing to develop and implement best local procurement strategies
  • Leading local category procurement processes
  • Identifying and recommend \xe2\x80\x9cbest in class\xe2\x80\x9d supplier and maintain good relationships with them

Required Education and Experience
  • BS/BA University Degree or College Diploma (preferably in business administration, finance, engineering, marketing & sales) and 6+ years of in field of expertise or equivalent experience.or MS/MA and 4+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in related field
  • Demonstrated experience in sourcing technologies. Familiar with reverse auctions; on-line bidding procedures; e-procurement and other relevant tools.
  • Proven experience in successfully negotiating complex, high-value projects.
  • Project management experience.
  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time and work globally if appropriate.
