Lourdes University is seeking applications for the position of Records & Data Specialist. This is a full time, hourly position.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for assisting the Registrar\'s Office with all aspects of student registration, student records, transfer credit, and athletic eligibility while following the strictest confidentiality standards according to FERPA.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Aide the Assistant Registrar with transfer and prior learning credit evaluations and maintenance in the student information system.

2. Collaborate with the Faculty Athletic Representative, Associate Athletic Director, Registrar and Assistant Registrar each semester to verify NAIA athletic eligibility for all student-athletes. Run and maintain reports for coaches.

3. Manage the data sharing and transcript inquiries of Leaner\'s Edge courses and credits.

4. Conduct the operation of all transcript requests through the transcript service system.

5. Process grade/name/address changes, registration forms, enrollment verifications and major changes for student requests.

6. Perform data entry and review as needed.

7. Act as a first point of contact in the office, advise and assist students in all matters relating to registration, transfer equivalencies, and their permanent records.

8. Assist in maintaining and updating all student files which includes document imaging.

9. Support commencement activities and degree audits at the end of each semester. Organize the degree candidate\'s audit file/report for validation purposes.

10. Affirm and uphold confidentiality guidelines in compliance with FERPA regulations.

11. Facilitate any reporting and data requests that come through the Registrar\'s office from other departments within the University.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintain working knowledge of current NAIA eligibility requirements, transfer credit best practices, and registration trends.

2. Maintain a cooperative working relationship throughout the University.

3. Exhibit a high profile of professionalism in the Registrar\'s Office.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate degree required. Bachelor\'s degree or higher education work experience preferred. Computer and technical skills including Microsoft Office, and student information system experience preferred. Good oral and written communication skills. Proven ability to prioritize effectively, and be detailed.
