Edgeway Events is hiring 2 part-time Office & Customer Operations Associates to support daily office operations, customer communication, and rentals. This role is essential to keeping the office running smoothly and providing consistent, professional service throughout the day.
This position serves as the frontline of communication and operations, requiring good judgment, organization, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities at once.
Shift Availability
We are hiring for the following shifts:
Morning Shift:
8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Afternoon Shift:
1:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Punctuality is required.
Work begins at the scheduled start time. Associates must be ready to work at the beginning of their shift and ensure a clear, seamless handoff to the next staff member.
Primary Responsibilities
Customer Communication & Call Handling
Answer incoming phone calls professionally
Respond to emails and messages clearly and promptly
Assist walk-in customers
Gather relevant information and direct inquiries to the appropriate person or department
Handle routine questions and situations independently according to training
Escalate issues appropriately
Office & Operational Support
Complete daily office tasks according to established procedures
Book rentals and provide basic customer information
Handle inflatable pickups and returns
Load inflatables and equipment onto customer vehicles as needed
Assist with U-Haul and trailer-related customer needs
Check and sort mail
Keep office, entry, and operational areas clean, organized, and functional
Communicate clearly with staff about completed tasks and pending needs
Multitasking & Organization
Comfortably manage
multiple tasks occurring simultaneously
, such as:
Assisting walk-in customers
Answering phone calls
Responding to emails
Coordinating pickups and returns
Prioritize tasks appropriately while maintaining professionalism
Remain calm, organized, and courteous during busy or high-pressure moments
This role requires a cool head, strong organization, and good judgment.
