As an R&D Chemist you will be responsible for:
  • Troubleshooting issues with existing technologies as well as customer challenges
  • Developing new solvent-based technologies based on customer needs
  • Evaluating raw materials and optimize formulations for cost-savings opportunities
  • Providing technical support to manufacturing
  • Publishing project reports & other documents direct to sales & customers
  • Maintaining laboratory equipment
Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:
  • Have a bachelors degree in Chemistry or equivalent
  • Demonstrate strong Math and Science skills
  • Be Proficient with record-keeping
  • Have good and effective written, reading comprehension and verbal skills
  • Be able to interpret data and draw effective conclusions
In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:
  • Knowledge of Flexo & Gravure printing processes
  • 5 years of job related experience
  • Ink and coating formulation experience
  • SAP experience
  • Knowledge & experience with GC, GC/MS, FTIR, Karl Fischer, etc.
