MTNA Rainsville Plant is looking for an energetic detail oriented HR Administrator that is positive, hardworking individual that will handle the day-to-day HR functions in our manufacturing environment with focus on creating a positive culture and working environment for all associates. The HR Administrator will contribute to the success of the HR Department by performing administrative and HR functions in relation to associate relations, HR related training, and support of all associates and company initiatives.

Essential Job Functions

  • Update and maintain HRIS, HR files, personnel files, job descriptions, and required reports as needed
  • Responsible for accurately processing monthly reports and End of Month reports as required. (Honda scorecard, Day 5 financial updates, Nami and employment/manpower monthly updates, etc.)
  • Responsible for event planning, associate and community involvement projects (to include Ads for local paper, contributions, etc.)
  • Conduct proper and thorough investigations and process applicable outcomes
  • Assist in open enrollment activities, communicate critical dates and changes to associates in timely manner, schedule onsite screenings and other health activities
  • Assist with associate leaves of absence, update and maintain leave reports, communicate approved leaves with team leaders and/or managers
  • Review timesheets to make sure all managers and team leaders correctly updated prior to processing of payroll; input garnishments, complete verifications of employment
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates in the HRIS system; (to include rate changes, transfers, promotions, new hires, terminates, benefits\xe2\x80\xa6.)
  • Participate in audits and meetings as requested
  • Provide support to all associates by answering inquiries, and providing HR assistance as needed
  • Responsible to oversee corporate housing including maintaining leases, contracts and keys, scheduling and coordinating services, purchasing of needed items, and performing periodic checks on condition
  • Provide back up support with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of internal and external candidates
  • May perform other duties as requested
Skills/Requirements:
  • Must be able to work well with various levels of associates
  • 2-5 years previous experience in similar role required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working with HRIS systems
  • Working knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws
  • Effective communication, both verbal and written
  • Effective conflict resolution
  • Quality orientated and attention to detail
  • Problem analysis and resolution
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-directed with ability to manage multiple priorities with little to no supervision
