Our family-owned company started in 1929 and has grown from a small manufacturing firm to a wide-ranging organization with 9 retail locations, a manufacturing and design branch, a wholesale arm and an e-commerce website. Job Title: Purchasing Specialist

Duties:
- Source and purchase materials, products, and services needed for the company's retail and wholesale operations
- Collaborate with internal teams to determine purchasing needs and specifications
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment
- Coordinate logistics and shipping arrangements for incoming materials
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information
- Evaluate supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions

- Build relationships with Vendors

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Specialist or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Familiarity with purchasing planning and inventory control processes
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proficient in using purchasing software and tools
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Note:

Knowledge of Catholic culture, traditions and products is helpful.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
