Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Hospital Purchasing Specialist to manage the procurement of endoscopy and video surgery equipment for healthcare facilities. This position requires a solid understanding of medical devices, vendor negotiation, and hospital purchasing protocols.

As part of our procurement team, you will play a key role in ensuring that hospitals and clinics receive high-quality equipment on time and at the best possible cost.

Key Responsibilities:

Source, evaluate, and purchase

endoscopes, processors, light sources, surgical towers

, and related accessories Request and negotiate quotes from qualified vendors and manufacturers Analyze purchase needs based on hospital usage patterns and inventory Track and manage purchase orders, shipping, and deliveries Ensure compliance with hospital procurement policies and medical device regulations Maintain relationships with vendors, sales representatives, and internal departments Prepare procurement reports and assist in budget planning
Requirements:

2+ years of experience in

medical purchasing or supply chain management

, preferably within hospitals or surgical centers Solid knowledge of

endoscopy and surgical video equipment

(Olympus, Pentax, Fujinon, Stryker, Storz, etc.) Strong negotiation and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and vendors simultaneously Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement/ERP systems High school diploma required (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working directly with

hospital procurement teams or medical equipment vendors

Familiarity with biomedical engineering or clinical workflows Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Portuguese) is a plus
