Role Overview
The Purchasing Analyst communicates with suppliers and mangers on all levels. Manages purchasing orders and deliveries, analysis data forecast future needs. Performs various clerical duties as needed. Responsible for confirming material has shipped and securing tracking information from suppliers. Creates and maintains material shortages.

Essential Responsibilities

• 
  Prepare purchase orders with JDE; ensure supplier complies to Otis Terms and conditions. Manage supplier delivers and lead time to support the Florence factory
• 
  Strategic planning/thinking skills coupled with analytical and execution skills.
• 
  Work with Production supervisors, Supply Chain, and Engineering, to resolve to resolve supply issues in a timely manner. Demonstrate excellent customer service skill.
• 
  Strong experience with Excel and/or other data manipulation programs.
• 
  Effective communication skills and the ability to communicate all levels of management required (Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• 
  Knowledge of, or experience with, lean manufacturing systems/processes and JDE configuration)

Basic Qualifications

• 
  Associates Degree or Four years of experience
• 
  Knowledge of elevator industry and/or field operations is highly desirable.
