Job Description

Grady-White Boats is currently looking for Prototype Technicians to join our team! These individuals will work with a team of product specialists that assist in the construction, testing and evaluation of new models. Reviews and troubleshoots existing product systems and parts and implements improvements. Provides assistance to engineers with the development of new designs, product specifications and bill of materials. Works with vendors on the implementation of new parts and accessories. Provides training, technical assistance and troubleshooting support to production personnel as needed.

This is a hands-on job with physical requirements including climbing ladders, working in tight spaces and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Required Skills:

- Mechanical aptitude

- Verbal and written communication skills

- Hand tool usage

- Excel + word

- Power tool usage

Preferred Skills:

- Boat handling

- CAD

- Engineering experience

- Forklift
