to join our Wallingford office. This is a full-time, in-office position responsible for overseeing daily operations, tenant relations, lease administration, and legal compliance. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and able to balance multiple responsibilities while maintaining strong communication with tenants, vendors, and ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day property operations for assigned portfolio.
Handle tenant communications, including lease renewals, rent collection, and service requests.
Coordinate and schedule maintenance and vendor services.
Oversee compliance with leases, building policies, and local housing regulations.
Assist with leasing efforts as needed, including showings and lease signings.
Maintain organized tenant files and documentation.
Prepare reports on occupancy, rent collections, and property performance.
Handle legal matters including preparing and serving notices, coordinating with attorneys, and managing eviction processes.
Qualifications:
Prior property management experience preferred but not required.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Proficiency with computers and property management software (AppFolio experience a plus).
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
