Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management and LIHTC, with a proven ability to enhance property value and tenant satisfaction. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Duties

Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Handle tenant inquiries and resolve issues promptly while maintaining positive relationships. Utilize property management software for tracking leases, payments, and maintenance requests. Implement strategies to maximize occupancy rates and rental income. Ensure compliance with local laws, including LIHTC, as well as Section 8 regulations and other housing laws. Prepare and manage contracts for services related to property maintenance and improvement. Maintain accurate records of all transactions, communications, and contracts related to property management. Collaborate with maintenance staff daily. Travel to multiple sites.

Skills

Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices. Experience in real estate administrative tasks and operations. Proficiency in using property management software. Ability to upsell services effectively to prospective tenants. Familiarity with Section 8 housing regulations and compliance requirements. Understanding of relevant laws affecting property management. Excellent sales skills with a focus on customer service. Strong contract negotiation skills to secure favorable terms for services rendered. Exceptional phone etiquette for effective communication with tenants and vendors.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
