This position is responsible for:
Under the direction of the Facilities and Property Director, the Property Manager plans, schedules, supervises, monitors, (80% of time) and participates in the day-to-day general maintenance and repairs (20% of the time - emergencies only) of Kroc Center location with responsibility of the Kroc campus, quarters, vehicles, grounds, and equipment. Ensures the security of each campus and staff member.
The Property Manager will also ensure all equipment remains in proper working order and in compliance with operating procedures and safety standards. The Property Manager will participate in major and minor repairs of the Kroc Center and Purdue Center of Hope, as needed, according to The Salvation Army procedures and policy. The Property Manager will operate a Salvation Army vehicle to pick-up and/or deliver materials related to property duties and will maintain an inventory of the Kroc property. The position will manage a departmental budget and assists on building projects as needed.
