CUMULUS | Lafayette, Louisiana is seeking a dynamic Promotions/Production Coordinator to join our team! Cumulus | Lafayette currently features (4) of the best radio stations in the Lafayette area. Our stations include: KSMB-FM 94.5, KRRQ-FM 95.5, KNEK-FM 104.7, KXKC-FM 99.1. The cluster of 4 stations reaches thousands of listeners on a daily basis. Additionally, we are a complete media company offering the best in class digital products and marketing assets. The Promotions/Production Coordinator represents the Cumulus stations at specified events acting as a Brand Ambassador and helps make sure our stations produce great sounding commercials for our clients. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for charismatic applicants, with smiling faces and outgoing personalities. • Assist in planning, organizing & execution of promotional events
• Able to create, write and manage rule sets for station promotions and give-aways
• Execute proper technical and physical set-up and breakdown of remote broadcasts and station events; ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues on the fly
• Represent stations at events in an upbeat and friendly manner
• Data Entry of Promotional events and contesting
• Work with promotional partners and gathering of prizes for giveaways
• Create e-blasts, social media posts & website posts; review promotional information and graphics
• Inventory and maintenance of prize closet, calendars, events for current and upcoming promotions
• Assist with vehicle inspections, fuel and coordinating maintenance
• Ability to drive station vehicles
• Maintain and storage of station equipment
• Participation in station Programming, Promotions and Sales meeting when required
• Tracking commercial scripts and ensuring all copy/creative is received and accurately imputed into the production order system in a timely fashion
• Coordinating copy with the Sales Staff and clients
• Coordinating and executing the entering of syndicated radio programs and network commercials
• Recording client spots and creating spec spots when needed
• Assign commercial production through traffic scheduling system
• Writing advertising copy when needed
• Ensure logged commercials, promotions, sweeper\xe2\x80\x99s and any other programming elements essential to the station\'s operations are aired
• Cross-check commercials for the legal ID and making sure commercials are legal and within the station\xe2\x80\x99s guidelines of acceptance

• Experience as a Promotions Director or Promotions Coordinator
• Audio production experience and knowledge of the digital space a plus
• Reliable; have a flexible schedule and be available to work at least 40 hours per week, that could include days, nights, weekends and holidays
• May require lifting or moving up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Outgoing, energetic, detail-oriented and responsible
• Proficient using computers and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong Social Media skills with sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
• Ability to learn new software platforms
• Bachelor\'s Degree in Communications, Radio or Media Production, or related field is preferred
• Ability to plan and organize, set priorities, multi-task and the discipline to focus and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Creative and strategic problem solver
• Strong production skills and knowledge of Reaper, Adobe Audition, Audacity and vCreative software is a plus
• Flawless eye for detail
• Be collaborative and a team player with a positive attitude
• Must have valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license with clean driving record
• Must be 18 years or older
