Job Purpose



The Analyst is responsible for coordinating third party/vendors for the flawless execution of small capital projects, ensuring that all projects are opened & closed on time, within scope and within budget. This position requires occasional travel from Albany to Buffalo, NY.

Key Accountabilities


  • Oversee all FM/IFM minor projects.
  • Oversee budget definition for OPEX and CAPEX and collaborate with the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Attend meetings with Facilities FMs and Capital Project Team.
  • Asset data management.
  • Document repository for all CAPEX documents.
  • Equipment warranty oversight.
  • Work with facilities and capital delivery to ensure all newly installed assets are entered into a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
  • Evaluate FCI reports for evolution project planning
  • Transition unplanned (Break Fix Projects) exceeding the threshold to capital delivery team
  • Review the project schedule and budget with Facilities Manager and Capital delivery manager Monthly
  • Communicate with key stakeholders and impacted business groups on the progress of the project.
  • Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the projects financial objectives. Including month to month & fiscal year accruals
  • Monitor and approve all budgeted project expenditures and track actual costs and variances on a regular basis.
  • Work with Capital Projects Director, Manager, Program Managers, Senior Project Managers, Analysts, Finance/Accounting partners & third-party teams/vendors to ensure project financials are reported accurately at deadlines.
  • Ensure closeout documents are received and processed
  • Identify needs for project deliverables from inception through closeout, including asset condition assessments, facilities and property input, and client needs.


Qualifications


  • A Bachelor\'s Degree is prefferred.
  • 3-5 years of project management experience required; (PMP Certification preferred).
  • Proficiencies with Financial reporting, Data extractions, Accruals, SOX Compliance, purchasing, purchase orders, and problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Project, SAP, Power Plan, EXCEL, PowerPoint, and/or other Financial & Project Management software and the MS Office Suite of products.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Comfortable using data to analyze & recommend informed business decisions.
  • Skilled in dealing with ambiguity and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong drive toward continual process improvement.
  • Track record of successful implementations of large complex projects which drive significant organizational changes.

Target Salary Range: $77,000 - $91,000
