Program Manager Summary: Program manager for the School Mental Health Program and the DHS Programs, including ISRS, Child Welfare, and Self-Sufficiency programs.

  • Manage contracts.
  • Manage budgets.
  • Collaborate with community partners.
  • Develop and expand programs.
  • Oversee and supervise staff.
  • Clinical supervision and oversight of documentation.
  • Possible supervision of interns/clinicians seeking licensure.
  • Recruitment and retention of staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training employees
  • Planning, assigning, and directing work
  • Appraising performance
  • Rewarding and disciplining employees
  • Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Program Manager Education/Experience: Must meet Oregon State (OARS) requirements
  • Ph.D. or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or other mental health-related discipline to qualify as a QMHP in the state of Oregon.
  • 5 years of clinical experience.
  • 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in clinical supervision or administration duties.
  • Knowledge of, and the ability to apply theories of family treatment.
  • Skills related to working with children in a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully supervise and manage mental health programs and staff.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Oregon driver\xe2\x80\x99s license, insurable driving record. Personal automobile insurance is required if clients are transported, or any agency business is conducted by the employee using his/her personal vehicle.
