The RRCAC provides forensic interviews for children up to the age of 18 years of age and vulnerable adults regarding allegations of sexual abuse, physical abuse or as a witness to a violent crime; documents a summary of interview results; testifies in civil and criminal court; and leads the multidisciplinary team. This position also engages the multidisciplinary team with regard to follow up services for the child victim of maltreatment and his or her family. Further, the Forensic Interviewer plans and coordinates educational opportunities for professionals that work with child victims, including peer review, web based training, and annual training. The Program Manager consistently demonstrate professional behavior and leadership skills that are in support of the vision, mission, and philosophy of the RRCAC\'s of age and vulnerable adults regarding allegations of sexual abuse, physical abuse or as a witness to a violent crime; documents a summary of interview results; testifies in civil and criminal court; and leads the multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Conduct forensic interviews for children and vulnerable adults (10% of interviews) \xc2\xb7 Lead pre and post-interview conferences with professionals involved (10% of interviews) \xc2\xb7 Summarize interview findings in a succinct and professional written report, primarily through the use of NCAtrak \xc2\xb7 Monitor NCAtrak and Forensic and Advocacy team reports to ensure quality \xc2\xb7 Fields all calls and emails related to forensic processes and advocacy process \xc2\xb7 Actively schedule, organize and facilitate in multidisciplinary team meetings, Program Committee and other meetings as required \xc2\xb7 Consistently demonstrate professional behavior and leadership skills that are in support of the vision, mission, and philosophy of the RRCAC \xc2\xb7 Maintain and update case files, audit case files and ensure proper long term storage for all files. \xc2\xb7 Keep informed of current research surrounding child maltreatment issues, inform the team of opportunities and budget regarding said trainings. Facilitate assigning team members to trainings per their job requirements. Bring research findings to team meetings for discussion and possible implementation. \xc2\xb7 Be available to support and educate team members through day to day interviews and advocacy sessions. \xc2\xb7 Assist team in organizing rooms and transition from interviews. \xc2\xb7 Coordinate peer review on a local, regional and national level \xc2\xb7 Coordinate and secure training opportunities for the team \xc2\xb7 Facilitate weekly FI and VA team meetings to ensure weekly schedule is covered and interviews area covered. \xc2\xb7 Resiliency check ins with FI and VA team to ensure secondary trauma support is being provided. Schedule team events to promote a positive team environment. \xc2\xb7 Assist as the lead role in organizing the Annual Spring Conference Speakers and continuing education. \xc2\xb7 Assist in the accreditation process as needed and gather material requested for audits \xc2\xb7 Lead facilitator to all MDT partners for internal and external changes to ensure a comprehensive team approach \xc2\xb7 Research and write grants to help fund the FI and Advocacy Program. \xc2\xb7 Manage a program budget \xc2\xb7 Management of a team of forensic interviewers and victim advocates \xc2\xb7 Responsible for all forensic interview referrals, scheduling and advocacy scheduling \xc2\xb7 Assist in onboarding new hires and conducting new hire orientation \xc2\xb7 Facilitate and schedule MDT orientation on a quarterly basis or as needed for new partners \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of child protection, police and court systems, experience working with diverse professionals \xc2\xb7 Recruit and Supervise interns for forensic interviews and advocacy programs \xc2\xb7 Complete monthly reports on quantitive numbers of individuals served and qualative data from OMS on quality of services. Prepare reports for team meetings. \xc2\xb7 Other duties assigned Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Bachelors Degree in Social Work/related field required \xc2\xb7 Experience working with children and families \xc2\xb7 Experience managing and supporting a team \xc2\xb7 Comfortable with leading internal and external meetings \xc2\xb7 Ability to multi-task \xc2\xb7 Strong organizational skills \xc2\xb7 Ability to speak in public \xc2\xb7 Ability to work in a fast paced environment \xc2\xb7 Strong Problem solving skills \xc2\xb7 Strong communication skills \xc2\xb7 Ability to handle routine office computer tasks, including managing data systems and creating data reports Preferred: \xc2\xb7 Ability to communicate with a wide range of children from different cultural backgrounds \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of sexual abuse and other forms of maltreatment and its impact on children \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of child development stages and a demonstrated ability to utilize this knowledge to communicate with children A background check will be completed prior to the final offer of employment and every 5 years thereafter.
