Middle River Aerostructure Systems (MRAS) is a world-leading manufacturer of commercial aerostructures and nacelle systems. These include thrust reversers (the braking system on a jet engine), engine nacelle components and specialized aerostructures. It supplies and supports these products for engine makers, airplane manufacturers and aircraft operators. Located on Maryland\'s Chesapeake Bay near Baltimore, MRAS has a 1.7-million sq. ft. facility situated on 180 acres \xe2\x80\x93 where the company and its predecessors have designed, built and equipped civil and military aircraft for over 90 years. In 2019, MRAS was acquired by VT Systems, the U.S. affiliate of Singapore-based ST Engineering \xe2\x80\x93 becoming a part of its global network of aerospace facilities and offices. Job Summary

The Program Manager is a Company leader authorized to direct a program with responsibility and accountability for total program performance to a contract compliant to corporate policies and procedures. The Program Manager reports to the Director of Programs. The Program Manager will establish and manage strategic and tactical objectives to be accomplished by a functionally organized matrix team.

Essential Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Identify, schedule, and manage scope to accomplish program contract and business objectives (Delivery, Financial, Technical, Quality).

\xc2\xb7 Establish, maintain, and approve program budgets and expenses.

\xc2\xb7 Lead weekly; Program, Configuration Control Board (CCB), Program Control Board (PCB) meetings, and Customer meetings.

\xc2\xb7 Create and maintain Program Management Plans and Risk Registers.

\xc2\xb7 Monitor, report, and manage actions based on relevant industry, Program, and Customer activity to ensure Program success.

\xc2\xb7 Serve as the principal management point-of-contact for the MRAS Senior Leadership Team and Customer. Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree from accredited institution with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience.

\xc2\xb7 High critical thinking, communication, leadership, and influencing skills with balanced technical, financial, and business acumen.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to perform under pressure with high degree of self and team accountability.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to support on-site and travel internationally.

Desired Characteristics

\xc2\xb7 Experience in commercial and government contract negotiation.

\xc2\xb7 PMP certification.

\xc2\xb7 Experience with Global Customers.
