K\xc4\x81pili Services, LLC has a potential need for a Program Manager Assistant to provide support for the 711th Human Performance Wing at Wright Patterson Air Force Base (AFB), Dayton, Ohio.

This position provides program management assistant support necessary to aid in the mission accomplishment of the Airman Systems Directorate, Airman Biosciences Division.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide support to the ASD Medical Research division lead program manager in efforts to execute and manage the Air Force Medical Service prescribed medical research strategies for cost schedule and performance.
  • Provide primary managerial support of project scientist and project statistician and serve as effective liaison between the Medical Research division executive staff and project staff.
  • Oversee and troubleshoot all project information system needs, as well as assist in designing and maintaining Medical Research Division business documentation and financial reports/records.
  • Produce and maintain project documentation, correspondence, records in regard to matters such as project/program progress and status documentation, budget, finance, property and accounting.
  • Provide organizational support necessary for the production of all electronic products required for the project.
  • Gather, analyze and identify information required by program or project managers; draw conclusions and work independently with the project/program managers to devise solutions to problems relating to improvement of acquisition effectiveness and compliance.
  • Assist in establishing, promoting, and maintaining a constant and effective working relationship within the division, directorate, 711HPW, MAJCOMS and stakeholders for coordination, support and changes to the scope of assigned work.
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
  • Possess a minimum of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a scientific or business field
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • At least eight (8) years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in technology related project management including demonstrated experience with all tasks below.
  • Demonstrated experience with cost, schedule, and performance with STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) projects.
  • Be a self-motivated individual who possesses excellent organizational, management, and communication (written and oral) skills.
  • Possess proficiency with Microsoft software programs, such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Be willing to sign an Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • 20+ years\xe2\x80\x99 demonstrated experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in medical research related project management.
  • Familiarity with AFMS (DHP) funding structure.
  • Familiarity with CCaR (Comprehensive Cost and Requirements System).
  • Familiarity with 711 HPW unique organization structure.
  • Understanding of fundamental fiscal restrictions/regulations and various types of contract vehicles.
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Must be able to pass a Tier 1 (SF85) background check.
