Looking to fill this position by the end of the summer 2023. The RRCAC provides forensic interviews for children up to the age of 18 years of age and vulnerable adults regarding allegations of sexual abuse, physical abuse or as a witness to a violent crime; documents a summary of interview results; testifies in civil and criminal court; and leads the multidisciplinary team. This position also engages the multidisciplinary team with regard to follow up services for the child victim of maltreatment and his or her family. The Forensic Interviewer uses research based interview protocols and techniques to consistent with the NCA standards and process to conduct child interviews. It also organizes and actively participates in multidisciplinary team meetings, peer review, and Program Committee meetings. The Forensic Interviewer is also expected to accomplish all required documentation of the interviews, provide court testimony, represent the RRCAC in a positive light at all times and conduct other duties as assigned. Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Conduct forensic interviews for children and vulnerable adults \xc2\xb7 Lead pre and post-interview conferences with professionals involved \xc2\xb7 Summarize interview findings in a succinct and professional written report, primarily through the use of NCAtrak \xc2\xb7 Consistently demonstrate professional behavior and leadership skills that are in support of the vision, mission, and philosophy of the RRCAC \xc2\xb7 Maintain and update case files and database \xc2\xb7 Keep informed of current research surrounding child maltreatment issues and participate in training \xc2\xb7 Represent the RRCAC in fundraising initiatives and community outreach \xc2\xb7 Assist in the accreditation process, which may include the leading reviews of RRCAC protocols and practices and coordinating the multidisciplinary team\xe2\x80\x99s efforts when called upon \xc2\xb7 Attend peer review on a local, regional and national level Perform other tasks and responsibilities as requested to assist with the operations of the Grand Forks RRCAC site. Qualifications and Education: 1. Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in human services related field (social work, counseling, psychology, criminal justice, etc.), or equivalent experience. 2. Drive and passion to work with children and families 3. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close and distance vision. 4. Employee must submit to a thorough criminal and child abuse background check upon hire and at least every two years thereafter. 5. Occasional in-state and out-of-state travel is required. 6. Maintain required education, certifications and validations for this position. Physical and Environmental Requirements: This work is primarily sedentary, requiring clear communication, seeing, hearing, talking, concentrating, reading and operating office equipment such as a computer, calculator, phone, copier and scanner. Work is primarily in a climate-controlled area with office equipment level of noise. Compensation: 40 hours per week 52 weeks per year Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per hour Benefits:
