Role and Responsibilities The Production Supervisor is responsible for daily management of production activities and production employees to ensure that targets are being met efficiently, while ensuring that the operation is meeting/exceeding compliance standards. The individual will ensure the staff is properly trained and will continually monitor operators and the process to ensure both are in compliance; this includes equipment management, process change overs and overall day to day operations This position is also responsible for developing a labor plan to ensure that resource use meets production goals in terms of safety, quality, output and cost. Works on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of numerous factors. Use experience and good judgment to ensure the broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. The individual needs to be capable of building working relationships with internal and external clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Makes daily project/work assignments for all production techs.
- Track, purchase, and organize all raw materials and equipment.
- Train and support new production techs or other staff members.
- Work with QC to ensure adherence to SOP\xe2\x80\x99s and other regulatory requirements.
- Provides troubleshooting support as needed.
- Make routine checks in the cleanrooms to verify production is running smoothly.
- Work with QC and managers regularly to implement process improvements, new processes, etc.
- Contribute to investigations and deviations related to production.
- Prepare batch production records for use and review batch production records daily.
- Required to wear personal protective equipment
- Other duties as assigned
