Training will be on first shift for approximately 3 months

You will be using hand tools, doing visual inspection, physical measurements, and packaging of finished product while you ensure conformity to engineering and quality standards. How YOU will make an impact everyday:

• Read, Understand and follow written procedures without deviating from the outlined process after training has been completed.
• Work under conditions of a controlled environment and operate within our quality management system.
• Operate basic machines, cutters, scissors, air tools, and measurement tools (ex. Rulers, Calipers, Pin Gauges, etc.).
• Operate with an understanding of Cleanroom Environment requirements, Good Documentation Practices, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Other duties as assigned and stated in the full job description.

Helpful skills for YOU to succeed as a Production Associate I in our Shipping/Packaging Department. (helpful, but not required):

• Previous experience with UPS, FEDEX or DHL
• Willingness to learn.

Qualifications for YOU to be successful:

• Dependable; maintains regular and punctual attendance.
• Basic computer and math skills
• Ability to do repetitive tasks, be detail-oriented, work in a fast-paced environment , and adhere to Nordson\xe2\x80\x99s Safety Policy.
• Able to read and understand written specifications and procedures
• Ability to stand frequently, sit, walk and bend
• Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds (occasionally)
