Job Description





SUMMARY:
Assist in production of interior doors, exterior doors, and other millwork items. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Work on a door pre-hanging assembly line, picking and pulling production material as needed.
  • Use power saws, air nail guns, staplers, and other tools needed to prep wood material used to assemble doors.
  • Conduct inspections and quality control of finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Recognize and report assembly problems in a timely manner.
  • Maintain work stations, production equipment, and work areas.
  • Safely operate a forklift to assist in moving material to appropriate area of shop.
  • Load, unload, store, and package material as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, and observe all posted safety rules.
  • Perform other assigned duties, responsibilities, or tasks.
  • Attend and participate in Bloedorn-sponsored training, when required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A Production Associate must:
  • Complete and pass a pre-employment drug, alcohol, and background screen.
  • Possess or have ability to obtain Forklift Training certification.
  • Speak, write, and communicate effectively in the English language (preferred).
  • Follow and apply simple one- or two-step instructions.
  • Have basic math and measurement skills.
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Production Associates:
  • Work in both an indoor production environment and outdoor setting subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise, dust, and vibration levels.
  • Occasionally lift/move objects up to 100 pounds, stand, and walk.
  • Regularly sit, use hands, reach with arms and hands, talk, and hear.
