We are seeking an intelligent, energetic candidate for a full-time Quality Control/Production Associate in our plant located in Edwardsville, KS. Quality Control / Production Associate - 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM This is a hybrid position that works in the lab as well as the production facility. The ideal candidate for this position has outstanding analytical, leadership, people, and problem-solving skills, thinks innovatively, and constantly strives for excellence and improvement. In addition, this candidate will need to multi-task between lab duties and assisting with production in the plant. The Quality Control/Production Associate is responsible for all quality control support of the chemical operations as well as production duties which includes but is not limited to the following: Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Perform testing of raw materials, in-process, final products, stability samples, and R&D samples \xc2\xb7 Ensure instrument qualifications are valid \xc2\xb7 Maintain neat documentation in compliance with CGMPs, ISO regulations, and internal SOPs \xc2\xb7 Conduct self-check on all QC tickets and laboratory reports \xc2\xb7 File and copy lab analysis reports as required \xc2\xb7 Ensure all chemicals are logged into the proper database \xc2\xb7 Ensure that the QC Lab is clean and properly maintained \xc2\xb7 Retain, identify, or dispose samples properly \xc2\xb7 Assist in arranging and handling the disposal of waste solvents and solids generated from the laboratory operations \xc2\xb7 Assist in documenting inventory and all related QC supplies \xc2\xb7 Maintain the QC sample and retain rooms \xc2\xb7 Maintain record of controlled substances \xc2\xb7 Operate forklift, sweeper, general clean up \xc2\xb7 Assist with labeling packaging and filling packages as needed \xc2\xb7 Other duties as assigned Requirements: \xc2\xb7 Experience/knowledgeable with cementitious powders \xc2\xb7 Strong ability to multi-task and highly self-motivated \xc2\xb7 Willingness to work with powders and cementitious materials \xc2\xb7 Quick learner, team player \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills \xc2\xb7 Demonstrated problem solving ability and analysis at high skill level \xc2\xb7 Superior decision-making ability \xc2\xb7 Ability to read and write in English \xc2\xb7 Detail oriented and quality minded \xc2\xb7 Able to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment \xc2\xb7 Good housekeeping skills \xc2\xb7 Have a passion for excellence \xe2\x80\x93 perform reliably, do great work \xc2\xb7 Prior industry experience is a plus \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of contact management systems is a plus \xc2\xb7 Ability to pass a background check, pre-employment physical exam, and drug screen Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
