What You\'ll Do

Under the direct supervision of the Product Support & Engineering Manager, the Product Support Technician will support the Engine PDC by using diagnostic equipment on engine systems and components in order to identify and fix problems in increasingly complicated mechanical and electronic systems. This role requires familiarity with electronic control systems and the appropriate tools needed to fix and maintain them.

Engine Troubleshooting

• Implement Engine Trouble Shooting and resolve engine issues of service
• Engine Diagnosis with SCAN Tool
• Investigate the defective parts and engines by disassembly.
• Investigate and report the information for technical issues to HDI Engine Div. as needed.
• Engine Repair

Conduct Engine repair and disassembly

• Engine Rework
• Engine Parts Change due to Engine Option Change or Quality Issue
• MAP Reflashing

Relationship management

• Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with OEM companies and Dealers.
• Assure all incoming calls and e-mails are answered and managed promptly and accurately.
• Provide on-call and ongoing troubleshooting and technical advice to clear up the field troubles.

Service Training Support

• Provide training to Customers such as Scan Tool usage or System
• Hand-On Training to Customer
• Service Training Support

Requirements:

What You\'ll Need to Be Successful

• Associate\'s degree in Mechanical field (Preferred in Mechanical Engineering).
• At least (2) years of customer service experience, preferably in service or technical-related service field. (Mechanical or Automotive)
• Travel requirement: 30 - 60%.
• Proficient in MS products \xe2\x80\x93 Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Strong work ethic and desire to set and attain goals.
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
• Positive conflict resolution skills
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with proven problem-solving ability
• Experience as a Technician/Mechanic, is a plus
