The Product Manager (Services) is responsible to help grow our service and solutions sales in Americas. As a member of MEAU\'s Sales and Marketing Group (SMG) you will be part of a rapidly growing division that is poised to address customers\xe2\x80\x99 growing automation needs. The Product Manager will lead the Service Solutions and Training Solutions portfolio to accomplish significant growth. We have an extensive portfolio of established, high-value services designed to meet and exceed market expectations and when combined with the rest of our automation product portfolio, Service Solutions and Training Solutions make a compelling value proposition.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be the primary author the company\xe2\x80\x99s Service Solutions and Training Solutions marketing plan. Establish objectives/goals for the product, craft strategies to accomplish the goals, and execute these strategies through well-crafted tactics.
  • Liaison with Field Service and Field Engineering Support Group personnel to define, justify, and coordinate new product development and product requirements for North and Latin America.
  • Prepare insightful executive summary reports of our sales growth.
  • Plan and implement new product introductions including market penetration strategy, pricing, promotion, training, demonstrations, and literature.
  • Provide on-site sales support for key and target customers.
  • Collaborate with Marcomm to create marketing initiatives, including advertisements, collateral creation, marketing communications (email, web, and print), product launch activities, coordination/assistance, case studies, and other marketing activities to increase lead counts and drive sales.
  • Support the company at events, including sales/distributor meetings and tradeshows.
  • Manage projects in conjunction with Sales, SSG, Marketing, Engineering, and/or third parties.
  • Perform market, industry, and competitor research.
  • Serve as internal and external PR spokesperson for Mitsubishi Service and Training Solutions - Be the Service and Training Solutions advocate.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Travel Requirements
  • 25%+ travel within USA and travel to Japan one or two times a year
Essential Education, Skills and Experience
  • BS in Engineering or Marketing preferred: BS in Business equivalent will be considered.
  • 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in industrial automation sales, marketing, and/or applications engineering.
  • Extensive knowledge of the services and solutions market.
  • Experience with a wide variety of industrial automation applications.
  • Commercial and technical knowledge of industrial automation products.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and \xe2\x80\x9cpresence\xe2\x80\x9d to deal effectively with senior-level contacts
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Ability to learn MEAU products and recommend technical applications to meet customer needs
  • Computer proficiency \xe2\x80\x93 Microsoft Office
