Position Overview

Align is seeking to hire an experienced product manager to help lead our ITAM growth initiative, including understanding and improving on the various tools and software platforms we utilize during & after IT change events \xe2\x80\x93 including our industry-leading software platform Asset Point ( ). They will be a key resource in defining and developing the services portfolio, contributing to the strategy and business plan, and managing the development of internal processes & resources to ensure that our ITAM offerings see significant market growth in the coming years.

• The Product Manager will have responsibility for defining and building the Align\xe2\x80\x99s ITAM portfolio of solutions and report to the Head of Marketing.
• The Position will be based out of our New York City office
• This is a full-time position offering full benefits, a competitive salary, paid training and performance-based bonuses

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the ITAM market as it relates to Align\xe2\x80\x99s target markets \xe2\x80\x93 enterprise IT change events in the workplace, data center and managed services environments.
• Help define the Align value proposition and differential advantage in the marketplace. Steward the core positioning and messaging for the solution set.
• Lead the solution(s) productization process from end-to-end including services definition, pricing, positioning & competitive landscape, buying personas, etc.
• Support internal marketing, sales, training and operations initiatives to enable solution development.
• Define a solution road map to ensure Align\xe2\x80\x99s ITAM offerings remain competitive, continue to grow and meet profitability targets.
• Continually develop business cases for new services by creating and documenting customer requirements, success stories and industry trends.
• Engage with Align Practice Leaders to develop the cross-selling value proposition of services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in product management roles for information technology solutions/software applications.
• Evident expertise in understanding the infrastructure challenges facing our customers and the fundamentals of the technologies involved in addressing them.
• Demonstrated success defining and launching products or projects in IT services & software sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly ambitious with a desire to be a top industry professional.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to travel.
• Desired criteria, but not required:

• Significant knowledge of the ITAM marketplace, industry leaders and extensive industry contacts and sources of intelligence (i.e.: media, analysts, research firms, etc.)
• Track record of success in high-growth businesses.
• Strong understanding of the financial aspects of providing ITAM solutions.
