We are looking for a

Product Development Manager

for our

Liquid Filtration business

in United States. The position is based in Mount Holly Springs, PA and is responsible to lead and develop three team members.


Purpose of the job




Manage Product Development activity and specific projects, including product enhancements and product redesign, in Liquid Filtration in Americas Provide Technical support to business and operations, including customers within Liquid Filtration business Promote HSE and sustainability culture as top priority

Main responsibilities




Promote continuous improvement in safety culture across the organization, in order to pursue the zero accidents target Actively promote sustainability in all Product Development activities and projects Facilitate cross fertilization of product development and cross selling of new products In collaboration with Liquid Filtration team and with Global Filtration PD organization, coordinate the plant Product Development resources in order to become more sustainable and increase the value for our customers, owners and employees Manage project timelines, milestones, budget and relevant product development KPIs Coordinate projects in cooperation with external institutions, such as universities, government research departments and private research institutes and associations, including funding opportunities Support the Plant in process development activities, technology transfers, qualification trials for products or raw materials and changes of process as well as for troubleshooting activities Grant technical support to customers, in close cooperation with Sales department Manage relations with customers' product development and technical organizations Coordinate claim management and related improvement plans Develop and engage the team, constantly assessing capabilities, leading by example, guiding and managing performance and attracting the best talents

Required experience and competences




M.S. or Ph.D. in chemistry or chemical engineering At least 5 years of professional experience in project management, product development, technical customer service, R&D coordination, preferably within filtration industry Project management skills Result and customer oriented mindset Excellent organizational skills Excellent communication and networking skills Strong problem solving skills and development methodology skills Good team leadership Fluency in English Availability for travelling
