Supply Chain (Procurement) Leader N.E.T. & Die a growing business-to-business manufacturer located in Fulton, New York is looking for a Supply Chain Leader (Procurement) for their family owned manufacturing company which has been in business for over 50 years in Central New York. This position will assist in material quotes, work with engineering and customers for best cost design for products, and coordinated procurement of all materials for jobs and facilities. They will be responsible for all direct and indirect procurement, inventory and vendor management. They will also be expected to advise management on additional capabilities for improvement within the Supply Chain discipline. This position will support the implementation of Purchasing standards and best practices. To be successful in this position you must have a high attention to detail, a sense of urgency to complete tasks and projects, be self motivated, organized and dependable. You must be a clear decision-maker with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You must also meet the following criteria; \xe2\x97\x8f Experience with supplier sourcing and negotiations in a manufacturing industry
\xe2\x97\x8f Knowledge of manufacturing commodities including castings, and raw metals \xe2\x97\x8f Proven Inventory Management for raw and finished goods
\xe2\x97\x8f Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use data and metrics to make assumptions and develop business cases
\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to problem solve independently
\xe2\x97\x8f Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary to help the business grow
\xe2\x97\x8f Associates, Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree and/or 5+ years equivalent experience
\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to read mechanical engineering drawings
\xe2\x97\x8f Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets
\xe2\x97\x8f Experience applying Lean
\xe2\x97\x8f Be willing to travel up to 10%
