Randstad has a client in South Kansas City, MO seeking a process technicaian on a DIRECT HIRE basis! The job pays $28-$33 per hour based on experience.Must have at least 2 years experience in Injection Molding, Producton, able to read Blue Prints, Set Molds and have a thorough understanding of the automotive parts industry!

work hours: 4 PM - 12 AM

Responsibilities

POSITION OBJECTIVE
Problem solving, scrap reduction and overall efficiency improvements.
The Section Supervisor coordinates the machine operations in the assigned section to ensure that proper
operating and safety procedures are being followed in order to promote the company\xe2\x80\x99s goal of producing a
quality product in a safe and efficient manner. The Section Supervisor is also responsible for the direct
supervision of assigned production personnel and in working with them to identify their strengths and
weaknesses so that they can be assigned tasks suited to their skill levels and advanced within the system.

Must have processing experience in plastic injection molding

\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to read and interpret blue prints
\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to operate/maintain assembly equipment and perform related activities
\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to follow complex instructions and effectively supervisor hourly workers
\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to troubleshoot and solve injection molding processes and tooling issues

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends

• injection molding (1 year of experience is preferred)
• Blueprint Reading
