Job Description


Responsible for portfolio management of university housing assets including financial modeling, valuations, financial reporting and FP&A. This person will work closely to manage the portfolio in coordination with property managers to raise the value of assets.

  • Acquisition and disposition of assets with direction of senior management
  • Attend weekly/monthly property operations call with property operators and internal team
  • Review operating budgets and capital improvement budgets, coordinating with third party property operators
  • Review property monthly financial and conduct budget variance analysis, identify opportunities of improving property performance
  • Review annual property operating budgets and business plans; make recommendations where necessary
  • Month/quarter/annual analysis and valuations of financial performance of properties
  • Conduct and provide comps analysis as needed
  • Conduct on-site property inspections and work with third party property operators and construction teams to ensure assets are maintained in peak physical condition
  • Interface with business partners, lenders, and consultants

Manage a portfolio of assets for a rapidly growing investment firm|Must have a background in University Housing or Multi Family
  • Bachelors Degree required, a degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business or related field is preferred
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in real estate, preferably with a focus on market rent, multi-family and university housing
  • Excellent understanding of real estate investment principles, Pro-formas, cash flow projections, and valuation methods
  • Highly proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong knowledge and analytical skills of financial statements reviews and analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess critical thinking skills as well as ability to multi-task, must be a self-starter
