Job Description

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

Group work orders by thickness and prioritize according to production needs. Execute proper material handling procedures using overhead crane and vacuum lifter to place material safely on table. Select proper tips for burner torch depending on material to be cut. Perform quality checks during production and coordinate with supervisor when problems arise. Execute cutting programs, clean slag off of finished parts as they are cut, stack parts on skid. Remove all scrap from table, place in dumpster, maintaining a clean and safe work area. Perform maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues.

Qualifications & Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required Math, geometry, measurement and PC skills, and must be able to read orders, a tape measure and calipers. Able to read and understand basic blueprints and drawings. Ability to safely use hand and power tools & equipment. Must exhibit a high level of safety consciousness and a clear understanding of equipment safety. Must be dependable and report to work on time.
