will support consistent and reliable payroll functions on a weekly basis for a multi-company environment, along with all payroll-related compliance and reporting requirements including but not limited to: monthly workers' comp reports, weekly certified payroll compliance/reports, payroll deductions and garnishments record keeping, and payroll tax and benefits reporting.
Duties
Process weekly payroll for 600+ employees across multiple companies
Demonstrate honesty and discretion when reporting all payroll related matters
Accurately calculate payroll tax deductions and process weekly tax payments in accordance with IRS guidelines via EFTPS
Process weekly 401k submissions to Fidelity via ACH payment
Process weekly health insurance payments from employee withholdings as well as company's liability portion
Prepare all certified payroll reports, verify their accuracy, and file them on time with the appropriate customers and/or government agencies
Prepare quarterly payroll tax reports and payments
Process annual W2's for all employees
Support Accounting and Finance as requested
Qualifications
Proven experience in payroll management within a corporate or nonprofit environment.
Proficiency with HRIS systems such as Workday, UltiPro, Ceridian, or PeopleSoft; experience with ADP or Kronos is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, debits & credits, general ledger reconciliation.
Familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks or equivalent financial software tools.
Understanding of tax regulations related to payroll processing and benefits administration.
Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy (10 key typing).
Strong analysis skills for financial data interpretation and reporting purposes.
Ability to perform account reconciliation accurately and efficiently.
Knowledge of governmental accounting standards and non-profit accounting practices is a plus.

Pay: $54,000.00 - $76,000.00 per year
