We are seeking a part-time Patient Services Specialist to work at our Orthopedics Specialist Clinic located at the Providence Professional Plaza in NE Portland. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.

Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate with a friendly demeanor, great positive attitude, and customer-focused work ethic. The ideal candidate has at least 2+ years of prior medical front office experience, has excellent communication skills, and has the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Primary duties include welcoming and greeting patients, collecting co-pays, obtaining and completing insurance information, answering phones, scheduling new and existing patient appointments, scanning, updating records, and other duties as assigned.

Workdays will be varying, Monday-Friday shifts. Starting pay range, based on experience: $17.61 - $23.83 per hour.

Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-years medical front office experience preferred
• Prior scheduling experience preferred
• Prior EMR experience strongly preferred; Centricity/AthenaPractice V20 experience a plus!
• Excellent phone skills and customer service skills
• Exceptional attendance and work ethic
• Positive attitude and desire to be a team player
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff and providers
