Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Abide by all Safety regulations and policies
• Must wear all required PPE for any task/job currently being performed
• Meet all production standards and efficiencies focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost based on current routings/times
• Perform daily housekeeping task. Help maintain 5S standards in your work location and whole department
• Must be willing to work outside of your current Job Classification and Department as qualified and needed
• Use all paint systems to paint product
• Apply powder and liquid paint to acceptable standards
• Apply loading/hook patterns to load and unload the line as needed
• Change out colors to specifications as needed
• Must be able to learn basic booth programming for GEMA paint booth
• Start up and shut down all paint systems
• Perform PM on paint line equipment
• Relieve employees for break and lunch periods
• Follow planned schedules so proper products and quantities are assured
• Partner with and act as back up for Batch Booth Rework

JOB QUALIFICATIONS :

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic mechanical abilities
• Basic mathematical abilities (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Organizational and communication skills
• Desire to learn new skills and improve knowledge
• Strong orientation toward:

• Safety, quality, and continuous improvement demonstrated by a work history of safe performance, accuracy and attention to detail in the work performed, constructive problem solving and suggestions for improvement, ability to effectively implement or respond to change, punctuality and consistent work attendance
• Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures, including those related to Safety
• Able to speak, read, and write in English

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Will be working in a manufacturing plant with varying climate
• Must be able and willing to work daily and weekly overtime as required
• Able to stand continuously for 8 to 10 hours daily
• Able to lift, push and/or pull up to 33lbs individually and up to 66lbs as a team
• Able to continuously grasp and reach
• Able to frequently walk, bend, climb, twist,
• Must be able to see and recognize full color pallet
